Located in the EMU Student Union Building on the University of Oregon campus, the Holy Cow Café has operated since 1997. They specialize in organic vegetarian comfort foods from around the world.
School term hours:
Mon-Thu 10am-7pm
Fri 10am-3pm.
Summer term hours:
Mon-Fri 11am-3pm

This campus spot is awesome! The people is friendly, the service is good, and most importantly, the food is great. They serve Quinoa, brown rice, black beans, lentils, Thai & chipotle tofu, tempeh, steamed & roasted veggies, veggie curry, mash & gravy, and their most popular dish, pad Thai. The menu is almost exclusively vegan and it is completely vegetarian. They also have a really interesting salad bar and a few different smoothie choices. I am a big fan of the Quinoa with lentils and roasted veggies, but you can't go wrong with anything. The portions are very generous and the food is organic and local. Highly recommended.
