Info courtesy of Vegetarians in Paradise
A natural food restaurant offering vegetarian, vegan, and non-vegetarian foods. The new owner, Dean Hamoui, puts a strong emphasis on vegan dishes with three new innovative dishes in addition to their regular menu which features two vegan soups daily. Their patio offers pleasant outdoor dining. We loved their Eggplant Lasagne and their Spinach Enchilada. Vegan cheese is available on request.

OMG this place is awesome!!! Where else can we vegans get vegan risotto?? Try the asparagus risotto and have them add sundried tomatoes. You'll be blown away :) And their chai lattes are great too. I wish we had this place in Newport. Expand, please!!!
What a huge menu! I was overwhelmed upon visiting Santé La Brea due to the plethora of options for vegans/vegetarians -I almost had to go hungry due to indesicion! I chose one of their vegetable wraps, but should you close your eyes and point, you would most likely be just as pleased with whatever you landed on. Many dishes come with their fabulous root slaw, and do not pass up the opportunity to try it -very unique. They also serve healthy omni options, so it is a perfect place to dine with "mixed company." The food is clean on the palate and in the stomache, and very reasonably priced for the quality, portions, and experience.

The portions have become smaller with their recent makeover, which seems to be ongoing as of now. I usually get the vegan risottos and pastas, and I'm usually pretty happy with those. My favorite meal, though, is the blue corn pancakes. Those are a steal. You can even get 'em at night, if you're willing to pay something like a $2 fee. Sometimes it's worth it. Not a fan of the desserts and the remodel, but we keep coming back for the entrees and the pancakes.
