Wow! These cakes are awesome!! I tried a few -- the German chocolate cake, the cranberry and the Irish oatmeal -- at the New Seasons in Beaverton, and they are so good!! I especially loved the cranberry cake: great texture and great taste (a bit sour -- really yummy)! These cake are irresistible! And the New Seasons in Beaverton had 5-7 vegan cakes from Piece of Cake every time I went there!

I really want to like Piece of Cake because I love anyone who offers vegan desserts, but the last couple times we have gotten their vegan cupcakes from New Seasons, they are just not good. They are dry and they have weird things in them (like they are using agar but didn't dissolve it all, so it's like little jelly pieces or something?) and yeah it's not good. I am just not buying their stuff anymore when I can get Sweet Pea instead and it is always good.

Yummmmm! Or Yum Yum Yum, as the sign in their door describes their cakes. The Vegan Carrot Cake is the best and their Vegan Chantilly Cake is also delicious. The eccentric atmosphere at their Sellwood kitchen is another reason I like Piece of Cake.
