I have been told many of the vegan dishes are not really vegan. I am not sure if this is true or not. It has been a while since I last ate here but, the Bahn Bao(steamed buns) are great! I have also had the Pho, having never eaten meat pho I can't compare it to anything but, I did like it as well as the crispy chicken salad.

After extensise domestic and international travel, this is by far the most interesting vegan asian fare I've stumbled upon - run entirely by female buddhists monks no less! The papaya salad is to die for, the lemon grass 'chicken' is unbelievable and vegan pho is incredible - all of which is made to order (they do 'spicy' outrageously well!). Great portions, ie the most bang for your buck around. And if you are like me and don't even want the presence of meat in the kitchen, then take comfort in knowing this place is entirely vegan. My gal and I have become weekly regulars for their papaya salad alone. The only complaint might be the cramped quarters and the lack of any ambience, but if you are there for the food you cannot go wrong (perhaps try take out first to get the idea). Support your local/vegan/female/buddhist monks!

Enjoyed the food here very much. The employees or volunteers from the church were all very nice to us. Our favorites were the Roasted Gluten and the Lemongrass Tofu Drumsticks. The food is very affordable and its the kind of place I feel good supporting.

I tried the tofu hum bao, the dumplings, the bird's nest and the kung pao "chicken". The atmosphere was plain and as it is in a house was a little too homey and a little cramped, the service was fairly quick but pretty stale as far as welcoming. The food itself was disappointing as the hum baos were strangely dry more like cake and crumbled upon eating, the dumplings were nothing like dumplings I have had and I couldn't get past one. The bird's nest was just not very flavorful and last the Kung Pao was pretty tasty and I liked the fact that they have the fake meat options. The prices were reasonable however I don't think I will be back here again.
