The Chateau is an extremely large, extremely busy Italian restaurant with a large menu of fairly standard offerings, including a fair number of vegetarian selections.
Directions:
The Chateau is on School Street one block behind the Waltham Public Library, and very close to the Waltham Common and the Waltham Commuter Rail Stop.

The Chateau is an average "red sauce" restaurant. The food is decent, but there are much better Italian options available. However, it does have a number of vegetarian options, including manicotti and eggplant parmesan. It would, however, be a fairly good selection, if you needed someplace to entertain a large party including both vegetarians and non-vegetarians.
