Carbondale Co-op that has it all!
This is a wonderful grocery store. Think of a mini version of Whole Foods or Trader Joe's. They have just about anything healthy that one could imagine. They sell local and organic produce; have a huge bulk section; have a well-stocked grocery section; have a deli with delicious looking food items; have fresh daily baked breads; and have indoor and outdoor seating for eating meals purchased in the deli.
Directions:
From Route 13: Merge onto IL-13 W via EXIT 54B toward CARBONDALE. Make a U-TURN onto IL-13 E / W MAIN ST. End at The Neighborhood Co-op, 1815 W. Main St Carbondale, IL 62901.

The Deli is one of my favorite aspects because in the past year they've really came up with some amazing new recipes. The co-op has community based classes in their store and a pretty good bulk section for the mid west. It's a sign of progress for Carbondale.
