Vegetarian/vegan friendly restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Longbranch has numerous vegetarian options and a couple of vegan options. It has a laid back atmosphere. Orders are taken at the counter and then delivered to your table. The only downside is the fact that smoking is allowed in the cafe. But there is outside seating available.

The Longbranch is a personal favorite for many reasons. They strive to help the community in different ways. Annually they hold "Kids for Kids Sake" It's a silent auction of children's art from Bangladesh and locally. IT also includes packages created with local business donations. It's a wonderful event that goes to support an orphanage in Bangladesh that at the very least the director of the auction visits every year. Starting in January 08' it will no longer be a smoking facility because the town is going smoke free.

Well, first off I would like to say that I could not rate accurately enough. The experience was 9, the food was about a 7, but that is coming from some one in Oregon. Then again finding a place like this in the middle of no where in the heart of the Midwest was definitely a 10. I had a vegan calzone. I had never had one before out and about, but it was very lovely and came with a small side salad as well. I thought there was a lot of food for the $$. It was very lovely to see a place that is trying to do so much not only to help locally but globally as well. They had a silent auction going on which benefit kids in Bangladesh. The atmosphere was so wonderful. Very welcoming and laid back with such a positive overtone that it made you feel as though you never want to leave. It made for a very pleasant experience coming back to my home state where just a few years prior hardly anyone new what a vegan was let alone try to run a place that encompasses all walks of life and tries to make a positive impact on the world. Thank you and I look forward to returning again my next trip home.
