The food here is pretty good but the restaurant is not as clean as I would like.
What a great little spot. I went for breakfast twice in two days. First time, biscuit & gravy with tofu slice, and the second day, the tempeh/lettuce/tomato and black bean soup. Killer stuff. Simple food done well.
This is a chill little place, the folks are friendly and serve the grub quickly. They also have some organic and non-organic beers and plenty of deserts.
This place is one of the least "vegan-tasting" places I've ever been to. I had the biscuits and gravy and some pie, both of which were vegan and amazing.
This place is probably not very healthy, but it's worth it.
Went here for breakfast this morning. They had some great-looking breakfast dishes. (And everything is vegan.) The tofu vegetable scramble was pretty good, but I think the biscuits and gravy were slightly better. Both breakfasts were pretty big. My friend got the fajitas, and she also had a ton of food.
The place has a ramshackle, kind of sloppy feel. The dishes weren't all spotlessly clean, but I've eaten in greasier spoons. The counter people were fairly "counterculture"--pierced, tattooed, etc. So if you're taking your ultra-conservative grandparents out for breakfast, this might not be the best place. But the food was good and quick. And a bottomless cup of organic coffee was about $1.50. Total cost of breakfast for two was $15.00.

Food is great. We go twice per month on weekends. Service can be really slow when busy. Love the tempeh and greens.
