A vegan friendly chain restaurant in the 'burbs.
Pei Wei Asian Diner is a new chain of restaurants to sprout up in the suburbs. It's an ideal choice for people who like dishes from Thailand, Vietnam, China, Japan, and Korea. Look for the leaf icon on the menu to see all that is vegan.

I was told that everything with the leaf next to it on the menu is already vegan. If it doesn't have a leaf next to it, it can be made vegetarian or vegan by request. I noticed honey in one item with a leaf next to it, though.
I ordered spring rolls, which were delicious. I ordered the Soba-Miso bowl for my entree. It was a little plain (for my tastes), but that is exactly what I wanted because I was sharing it with my 4 year old son. Next time I go, I'm getting something more spicy!
The staff seemed really knowledgeable about special diets compared to most restaurants in the suburbs.
The atmosphere is quite nice for a chain/quick service counter type restaurant.
