A laying poultry flock
Four Cashmere/Nubian goats
Several bee hives
A small nursery
A restoration area that is managed by graduate students at Naropa University
Classes, workshops and festivals built around living sustainably
The farms focus in on becoming a living model of sustainability not only in food production but also in every aspect of how we interact with the natural world. We practice organic farming, and are dedicated to living lightly on the Earth.
The land stewards living at the farm are dedicated staff who help create our unique environment. Throughout the year the farm serves as a living laboratory for a variety of Naropas credited and continuing educational classes and community events. Community outreach programs target area pre-k-12 schools to witness and participate with the daily activities of farm life.
