Tasty Vietnamese food on the West Side
It's not much to look at from the outside, but Little Saigon is a gem of a place in the heart of downtown Glendale. Here, you'll find a number of veg-friendly dishes in a cozy setting.
Start with appetizers of Spring rolls, and then move on to the delightful entrees:
>Tofu with mushrooms, carrots and potatoes
>Potatoes, carrots, and onions in a coconut curry sauce
>Spicy eggplant woked with pepper flakes
>Ginger broth soup with bok choy
>Tofu, lightly breaded and flash-fried
>Tofu sauteed with fresh tomatoes in a pepper sauce
>Tofu cooked with assorted vegetables in a light brown sauce

I had a little trouble finding the restaurant, but it was definitely worth the trouble. The service was solicitous without being overbearing. The food was very Vegan friendly. It was spiced to the point of beads of sweat on the brow just as I asked for it. I will be back and often.
