Mekong is one of the best thai restaurants in the city, it is not exclusively vegan, but the sign boasts of having the biggest selection of vegan thai in the city. The staff is super friendly and knows all about the vegan diet. The pumpkin curry is to die for, as is the vegan thai iced tea. Don't forget to ask for vegan banana cake! Kevin (the manager/waiter) is awesome. He is always there and works hard to bring you the best vegan Thai food in the city. I have probably tried nearly everything that can be made vegan on the menu and have not been disappointed yet. I am especially liking the "fish" dishes with curry. My girlfriend always gets the BBQ "Chicken". Go now and don't just play it safe by sticking to only the tofu dishes. Have fun, explore, you'll be greatly rewarded.
Yellow, green and red curry all 100% vegan and 100% amazing. Also great are the appetizers, I recommend the satay and also the curry puffs. Another big plus is the extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff that always has great menu advice.
Excellent. Everything on the menu (that I saw) was either vegan or offered with a vegan substitute. Give the duck with basil a shot, it's phenomenal.
The place has changed owner ship, and the menu. Not super vegan friendly anymore. Talked with someone who worked their, he had no idea where the old Mekong went. Sad. RIP Mekong.
