All-organic vegan cafe and bar
Café La Vie is an all-organic café and bar in downtown Santa Cruz that specializes in vegan cuisine and beverages, including organic juices, beer and wine. Much of the menu is raw vegan, but some dishes are cooked and a handful of vegetarian options are offered. Romantic French Polynesian decor. A notch or two more upscale than a typical health food restaurant, but still casual and welcoming.

The menu is interesting. As compared to other veggie options I've tried in S.C., this place is a bit spendy and the food lacks flavor.
Nice "date" place. Food was good, but a bit on the expensive side. Friendly staff. Enjoyable.
