Food specials change every few days and Starving Artist Suppers on Monday nights offer a wide variety of tasty treats (vegan and vegetarian).

i have eaten and imbibed at the globe on many occasions. i have never, ever found it to be palatable. the cakes and brownies (in my pre-vegan days) were rubbery and tasteless. the sandwiches and wraps were alternately dry or soggy and always without taste. and i must say, the globe is home to the very worst cup of coffee on the planet.
the woman who own the place (joellen) is an absolute treasure and wonderful community activist. i would love to support her business, but i have yet to find anything worth consuming on the premises.
I have to disagree on all points with the previous reviewer. I found the food to be fairly good, although the kitchen facilities are those of a coffee shop and not a restaurant. The proprietress, however, was somewhat rude and condescending towards her customers, to several unrelated groups of people on separate occasions, so it seems to be a character trait. However, her employees were acceptably friendly.
