Gourmet 47 Market and Café is a newly-revamped(May 2005) grocery store and deli in the west loop neighborhood. The grocery offers a variety of vegetarian/vegan as well as other organic foods. The deli offers a wide variety of fresh dishes that changes daily, and you can usually find a couple of vegan options among them; be sure to ask if you're not sure though. They have a coffee/tea bar along with ample seating space inside (and outside in warm weather) where you can enjoy your deli meal.

I work near here, so I always like to pop in to see what dishes they've made in the deli for the day. They usually have a couple of vegetarian dishes, and one or two vegan items. If it's not entirely clear what's vegan, the staff has always been more than willing to ask the chef to find out.
I also like the grocery store because they do stock a number of veg-friendly and organic foods.
