This seemed like just another coffeeshop with nothing special. They had Oregon Chai (ugh) and did not have any vegan baked goods, though I had been led to believe they did.

I like that they opened up in a remote location (as neighborhoods need business) but there isn't really any reason to go out of your way to get here, as Gingko doesn't offer anything unusual.

I go to Hamline and I'm a vegan. I love this place. It's great for studying or for hanging out. They have good bands there too.

It is hard to find a coffee shop in St. Paul that offers vegan bakery, and this place usually has a few options. Today i had a strawberry-rhubarb scone which was made with whole wheat flour and it was very good. They also offer organic and fair trade coffee. Another perk is the parking lot in back for customers. If the lot is full, there should be plenty of street parking on Minnehaha. The staff is always friendly. They stay open until 11pm on weekdays for the student set.
