Stall inside Mercado la Paloma

Food Court or Street Vendor

Vegan Ethiopian dishes served with injera or rice, plus various desserts, like vegan cupcakes. Also has some raw food.

They also have the stall next door where they sell Ethiopian clothes, pottery, spice mixes, etc.

The Mercado la Paloma also has other food stalls.

We shared a four item plate between the two of us, which came with a couple of pieces of injera, plus a small cupcake each for dessert. Easily enough food for a light lunch, though we would probably have appreciated more injera. The food itself is tasty and light, but a couple of the dishes were a little watery (the injera is rolled up on top, rather than a piece underneath to soak up the juices). I wouldn't say that Azla is as good as Rahel's, but it makes a good lunch stop.
