A hip restaurant, cafe, bookstore, and theater on U St. in DC

Restaurant, Coffee/Tea/Juice, Bar

They have a vegan tempeh sandwich with roasted vegetables, veggie burgers, and a variety of vegetarian and vegan pizza choices.

This restaurant is classy, but not particularly expensive (I got dinner and a glass of wine, and I spent less than $20.) You can get dressed up and go here for a semi-fancy dinner out, go for some drinks on Saturday night, or just go during an afternoon for a coffee with your laptop. They have free wireless internet access.

There is a theater and a bookstore built into the space as well. They host plays, film screenings and open mic nights.

Wonderful vegan options! I tried the vegan calzone and it was excellent.

Also had a nice big mug of vegan mocha- giant portion! Loved the atmosphere too

Would love to try the other vegan options soon
