I love Caffrey's and so do my roommates. We order their sandwiches frequently and they are always tasty and have a reasonable delivery time. To my recollection they've gotten every order right on every time with out any mess ups!

I have ordered a lot of Caffrey's in my time, and I am very disappointed at the moment. Out of the last 5 times I ordered, they have delivered a non-vegan sandwich 4 times. Screwing up 4/5 times isn't the only problem: they stopped carrying the vegan chicken and the vegenaise, so neither of those are available anymore. Their vegan chili isn't very good either, which is the only vegan soup available.

Boo!

I had the vegan chicken sub with lettuce, tomato, and veganaise, which I would recommend. This place is great! They still don't have the veg. options listed on the menu though. FYI- the owner told me that he just ran out of the vegan chicken after making my order. He had to special order more, so it won't be available for a week or so.

Update: I also noticed that they have been out of mayo the last few times I've been there. Apparently they're not ordering more?? The vegan chicken sub is not nearly as good without it.

They have not had vegan mayo anytime friends or I have called. Its alright, but I'd rather spend an extra buck and buy a luce sandwich.

yes, the subs at caffrey's are amazing...when they get them right. the last 3 times i've been there and ordered a vegan sub it's been made with real chicken. after the most recent incident we called and spoke with a manager, who could barely muster up an apology. all he could say was "it's busy at 6 o'clock." terrible customer service and a very unpleasant experience all around. in short, if you're desperate for a vegan sub, go ahead and order one from caffrey's. but be sure to double check your order before taking a single bite.

Best sub shop in Minneapolis- no one else has such great meat alternatives. Great for anyone sick of choosing between just hummus and veggies, plus the subs are just plain good.

They still don't have the mock chicken, veganaise, or hummus on the menu, but they're there! The guy helping me out said that they can substitute the mock chicken for any of the meats on any of their sandwiches, not just the chicken based ones. We ordered the three pepper chicken hot hoagie, vegan style, and it was really good. We also tried the curried corn soup with wild rice and it was excellent. They had a vegan black bean chili as well. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be going back.

Although when I went in the new vegan options were not yet on the menu, the employees were very helpful in letting me know what was what. The Vegetable Sandwich is vegetarian, but can now be made vegan by substituting the cheese for hummus, and the mayo for Veganaise. Also, the Three Pepper Chicken sub and the Grilled Chicken salad/wrap can be made vegan by asking for the mock chicken and Veganaise. The Three Pepper Chicken sub was out of this world, and one of my omnivorous friends said that he could hardly tell the difference.
