Promoting Veg-living since 2003
SCVS is a local, community-based organization formed with the aim of supporting the adoption of a vegetarian diet by residents of southern Connecticut. SCVS started in Jan. 26, 2003 (Superbowl Sunday!) We had about 30 people attend that first day. Meetings are held periodically and often feature guest speakers and potluck dinners. Please join the mailing list at our website to receive notices of announcements.
The organization usually meets at Edge of the Woods , a natural food store in New Haven. Its information is here in VegGuide too.
