Whole Foods Market
Grocery/Bakery/Deli
Extraordinary Natural Foods Store
Whole Foods market is the most profitable grocery store chain in the United States. And for good reason: organic fruits and vegetables; a plethora of bulk foods; an amazing array of packaged natural foods; freshly-prepared foods; a humongous salad bar (with numerous veg items you won't find at any other salad bar); a hot food bar; a sandwich bar; and dining area; a section for baked goods; a Veg-friendly deli; an enormous supply of vitamins/supplements; natural health/beauty products; an adjacent Jamba Juice store, and much, much more! What more could one ask for out of a single shopping destination?

We went to the new Whole Foods Market in Chandler today and it was GREAT! It felt like being home in CA. The sesame tofu sticks, the cabbage salad, and the raw kale were all delicious to name a few. The layout of the store is easy and the place is just wonderful!!! Whole Foods is like an oasis in a dessert for vegetarians and others who value what goes into their body. Thank you Whole Foods Market!

It was nice and clean, and there were plenty of vegan products. The bakery had no baked on-site vegan products (some Whole Foods stores do, maybe this one does but just on this particular day?) but had a few Fabe's items I hadn't seen elsewhere. Friendly staff.
its like vegan heaven!

I have been to the store several times now and the good things about it are the staff who are friendly and responsive and their willingness to bring in products that I have asked for. The weaknesses are the somewhat confusing layout which is very different from the Tempe store where I used to shop and the lack of vegetarian choices in the prepared foods. The first time I went for lunch I wanted a hot vegetarian dish and there wasn't one in the Indian food section and not a great choice in the rest. The produce section is somewhat variable too. This week my raspberries were moldy.
