Brew pub serving vegan, organic beers
The food menu may not have many veggie or vegan choices (though they're all clearly marked), but at least you can be sure that all their own brew are vegan and organic.
In their own words: 'The Knott is the most recent acquisition of the Marble Beers Group. Situated at the end of Deansgate it is the perfect antithesis to the trendy bars that line the canal.It is a relaxed and comfortable bar where the varied clientele can enjoy a stunning range of traditional cask ales or perhaps one of the draught Belgian beers.The knott has a unique open kitchen where the chef’s create dishes from the outstanding menu.'
From the pedestrian shopping area (outside the Arndale Centre), head west up Market Street. At Deansgate (just before the canal) turn left and head south down Deansgate for about a mile.
The pub is just after Bridgewater Street on the right (again, just before the canal).
