Brew pub serving vegan, organic beers
The food menu may not have many veggie or vegan choices (though they're all clearly marked), but at least you can be sure that all their own brew are vegan and organic.
In their own words: 'Located in central Chorlton, The Bar is a vibrant pub where the food is as popular as the ale. The wooden interior and outside terrace make this the perfect venue whether your seeking a cosy drink next to the open fire, or dinning 'alfresco' on a summers evening. As with all the Marble outlets the selection of beers is paramount, and includes the Marbles own ales and stunning selection of imported draught and bottled beers. Monday evening quiz nights at the Bar have become a Chorlton legend, with teams battling it out under the watchful eye of quizmaster Frank.'

There's always a couple of vegan options. I had an excellent meal once there, but then went back with a group just before Christmas, and the fare was much more disappointing.
The beers are excellent.
