Adorable location! I agree with the other reviews that, for a restaurant voted "best vegetarian," they didn't provide very many veggie options. That being said, all the veggie meals that my companions and I ordered were awesome! You should go!

I love this quaint little place. I didn't find it to be particularly veg-friendly as their sign said, but the couple of things they did have were fabulous. I think it was the best salad I've ever had (can't remember the name, but it had dried cranberries and their own dressing - just ask for it without the cheese).

The wait staff was extremely helpful, kind, and fast - really displayed that southern hospitality. I'll totally go back the next time I'm in Savannah.

PS I took five points off because even though they were fab, there were only a couple of veg options. I thought it was weird that they posted a sign saying that they were voted number 1 for veg dining in Savannah when only like 2 things on the menu were vegetarian. Plus, they got me all excited for their corn chowder soup but upon asking, I found that they used chicken stock. They really should use veg broth so that all can enjoy.

On recommendation from someone at The Sentient Bean, I went over to the Firefly Cafe for dinner.

I had a very flavourful portobello mushroom & vegetable entree and was really pleased to find really great tasting food with good service.

Prices are reasonable and quaint atmosphere.
