Vietnamese

Healthy Vietnamese Cafe with pre-cooked items or special order in a cafeteria-style setting.

This is a great downtown lunch spot. They offer light and healthy choices. The Vegetable Pho Noodle Soup is vegan. The fresh (not fried) veggie spring rolls with peanut sauce are also vegan. Their homemade hoisin sauce is vegan and very good. There is a grilled veggie sandwich which can be vegan if you ask for no mayo. They also seem happy to accommodate special orders to make dishes without egg or fish sauce, etc. They have pre-cooked lunch specials, but I've never been there when they had a vegan choice. They seem to cook the pre-made lunch specials with fish sauce even if it looks vegetarian. They are very nice here, and know what vegan means. However, they seem to be confused about vegetarian. Two different people here thought that vegetarian includes fish, so be very specific.
