It seems to me that Karma Cuisine has always had eggs and dairy on the menu, from the start. Perhaps the person who wrote the last review never came to Karma Cuisine, humm. We support the path way to better choices by being 97% Vegan, Veggie (which if you don't know some vegetarians eat eggs and dairy) and raw. Yes there is now meat added to the menu, but every precaution is taken with cookware, storage, and cleaning to keep everything separate. We take pride in our food being 100% organic without exception in all we do. We want our meat eating community to get the benefits of clean organic food too. Perhaps by welcoming them in the door, we can do more good than shutting them out. Come see for yourself and go beyond the non tolerant folks opinions, after all they have the right to be so, if they choose too. Our doors are open for everyone. Be apart of the change you want to see, try to open your mind to clean food for all. Much thanks to those who support our ideas and enjoy our food. We thank you and enjoy seeing always! Karma Cuisine

Karma Cuisine now serves meat. They were obviously only ever trying to cash in on a vegetarian market, but never cared about the animals as they claim to. This is evidenced by the dairy, and now eggs and flesh on their menu.
The food (what vegan there is) doesn't even taste very good and is quite pricey.
Thank you to Kirsten and the other ladies for making such healthy food! My dear friend Craig recently had brain surgery and needed some very healthy meals. Although he said he was not hungry when we brought him some of your treats to his hospital room, he proceeded to drink all the veggie juice, ate half the triple order of living crackers, ate all the delicious soup and had several bites of potato cakes and kale with peanut sauce. Now that he is out of the hospital I'm hoping he'll enjoy sitting in the window, taking in the atmosphere and eating more of your tasty and healthy meals. Blessings indeed. My only request is that you might consider dropping the prices if at all possible. This is likely to make you the most popular restaurant in town, so may be worth trying!
Love your food and peaceful atmosphere - Suzette Drouillard
As a non-vegetarian, I found the food wonderfully different and delightfully prepared. The atmosphere was one of peace and quiet joy. I would eat there often if I could. It is definitely one of a kind, and a nice kind at that!
This restaurant has pros and cons...
Pros...
All organic. Bamboo tables, very nice eclectic atmosphere (also have some window seating where you sit on the floor)
Cons...
Too expensive for what you get
Doesn't taste that good
My boyfriend and I (both vegans) went there to try it out and we were basically disappointed at what we got for the price we had to pay ($69 for two people). He had a potato cake dish and I had some tacos. The best part was probably the vegan chocolate/espresso cake. However, it gave me a headache shortly after eating it. Hmmm.
Anyways, I love that they are trying to have a vegan/organic restaurant but honestly they need to rethink it because it is too expensive and just plain not worth it.. Sorry...
My 10 year old son loves this place too. We started with the hummus, pita, & carrots. Their hummus is almond and not garbanzo based, let me say it was tasty. My boy even asked for more carrots and pita to dip. He had the tofu peanut salad really enjoyed it. I had the quinoa & veggies with coconut milk sauce, 100% vegan and 100% wonderful.
We're going back for dinner tonight.

I've no idea what this place is like, since they were closed at 4:30 pm. The reviews elsewhere look good though, so I'm disappointed not to have tried it.

Since my wife and I are of the meat eating public, it was nice to see us included in your menu. We however, loved the vegetarian fare. It is nice to know it is clean and very scrumptious. I wish I could tell everyone, to just throw caution to the wind, and try it. We know they will not be disappointed. The friendliness of the servers, and the knowledge about what they serve, was willingly shared with us. Knowing what you eat there is half the fun. We would have no trepidations of sending anyone there to eat. There is now something for everyone. Good eating everyone!!!!
