Hipster coffee shop serving fresh, homemade soups and sandwiches all day
Hi-Fi is a small, cozy, arty hipster coffee shop that serves an array of pastries, homemade soups, salads, sandwiches, and pizzas; fresh-squeezed fruit and vegetable juices, and good, strong, CHEAP coffee -- you can still grab a steaming cup in house for a measly buck. You could easily spend several hours in Hi-Fi sipping away the day before heading outside for some thrift shopping.
Their soups are always vegetarian, and often vegan. Some of their salads and sandwiches are vegan, and others can be made vegan by omitting cheese or mayo, etc. They're usually glad to leave off anything if you ask.

Vegetarian food seems easy to come by, but as a vegan, I was only able to find two options. The food was bland and the cafe seems to be populated almost entirely by hipsters, as is the neighborhood it's in.
