Best restaurant in Santo Domingo - hands down! Generous portions, great variety and flavor, fast service, and reasonable prices. The menu changes daily so there's always new options but they maintain some consistent items like sancocho (soup), various rice, and basic veggies.
I liked everything I had there but my favorite were the mixed veggie dishes, versus the soy meat dishes. I also really loved trying the Dominican specialities like pastelon (potato/plantain/etc bake with soy meat) and the red bean dessert, both of which are normally made with dairy, and the former with meat.
The restaurant is hard to find if you're not local so be sure to check out the picture of the building!
