I had not been here in a while and recently had the veggie combo for dinner. It was phenomenally good! The grape leaves were awesome, love love loved the tabouleh, baba ghanoush and hummus. Amazing rice, everything super tasty, felafels also very yummy......and well you get the idea. I love getting the combo's because i have enough for lunch the next day. If it is between Beirut and Jerusalem's or really any other med grill in the metro area then hands down go Beirut!! Oh, they make the pita, and grape leaves on premises which is (yes, yes) absolutely fantastic. The hot tea is great too. I am now drooling now over the quality of food that comes from Beirut as i write this review!
Atmosphere is drabbish but you can tell that they have done the best they could to spruce up the walls and decor...hope they make enough profit to remodel the seating. Location can be a little tricky to find but its close to the Big Lots and across the parking lot from the Denny's off of Hampden and Broadway.
Note: I am not sure if they are really open until 11pm every day. When my boyfriend and i were leaving last night it was around 9:30pm and the open sign had been turned off. I would call ahead if you plan on eating here later in the evening to ensure they will be open.
