vegan-friendly to-go cafe

555 Viva Cafe is a small cafe within an office building but it's open to the public. As it is a to-go cafe, all items are prepared for carry-out, including salads, sandwiches, wraps, and snack items (chips, nutrigrain bars, etc). Their menu varies but they usually have a hummus wrap or avocado panini that is vegan and a soup option.

In terms of New York vegan food in general, this place is WAY behind, but in terms of vegan food in the South Bronx specifically, 555 Viva is right on. This neighborhood is permeated with fast food, fried chicken, and ice cream. The 2nd most vegan-friendly restaurant around here is Subway, which doesn't say much.

As this place is really small, I've found that they often run out of what I'm specifically in the mood for, but they usually have something I can grab. I work in this neighborhood fairly frequently and it is literally the only place I've found vegan food that isn't potato chips or french fries.
