Mmm.... order the vegan chocolate dessert!
Great multi-ethnic food! mostly indian/middle eastern.
oh. and POLENTA FRIES. if you go there, and don't eat the polenta fries, you're insane. i wish i still lived close enough to make trips there. i'm totally craving the polenta fries. causal order-at-the-counter downstairs (with outdoor seating!) and more formal get-yer-order-taken upstairs. mmmmm goooood.

Pilaf's food is great, but the service makes it one of the worst places to go on the plaza. My best friend and I went for lunch one day and the place was empty, (it was a late lunch). We ordered cocktails off their cocktail menu and the waitress didn't know what we were talking about (Hello... You gave us the menu!). The food came fast and was amazing,as always, but the service is HORRIBLE. I love this restaurant, but never dine there because of this. If you have a ton of patience and time to devote on training thier servers, then go. If you expect your servers to come with any knowledge of the menu, go somewhere else!
