Eat and Two Veg
$$$ - expensive
American, English
Contemporary all vegetarian diner
Large open plan restaurant which is a modern take on the style of New York diners from the 1940s.
The portions are large and the food is good solid american/english diner/pub fare but with an upmarket feel. Even non-vegetarians should be happy to eat here. There is a well chosen beer and cocktails list (they are not cheap though, at £6.50 each), and the desserts also look great.
They're open seven days a week and a breakfast menu is featured each day (with limited hours) before reverting to the regular menu. The eggs used are free-range and organic.
Not too far from Baker Street tube station, or can walk north along Marylebone High Street from Oxford Street.

Excellent breakfast - would never have thought of including spinach in a cooked breakfast, but it works.
