This is falafel at its best! I happen to be a kosher vegan, so this restaurant is perfect for me, but check it out regardless of your dietary requirements. In quick response to a previous review: there is no "cream sauce", but they do put tehina on the sandwiches; this is just ground sesame seeds with a little chickpea mixed in. A basic falafel sandwich is vegan! :) Only get the hot sauce if you really like the heat. mmm, now I'll have to go out and get some Mama's!

Very good food. I have had the falafel many times. They get very busy around lunchtime and seating is limited. Whole wheat and regular pita. Get it without the cream sauce to make it vegan.
If you have a big appetite, the Mama platter gives you a mix of tomato, lettuce, hummus, and 7-8 falafel balls- plus a pita to make your own sandwich. Very Filling. But for the average person a small or large falafel sand-which would be enough. Fried eggplant is pretty good to. Servers can be impatient with people who are new there, but that could be just when they are busy. Also, you can ask for a free sample with no problem.

This place is great! Quick, delicious food at a good price and, it's good for you! Great service (let's just hope it stays that way).

The Israeli family that runs this falafel joint makes their own pita every day, and it is also available for purchase. Their main attraction is definitely the f., but they also have some other items on the menu such as eggplant and latkes. The f. themselves are well-spiced, with a nice balance of flavor, and they keep them pretty fresh so they aren't cold or hard. The people behind the counter are also very friendly. You also can choose from a variety of relishes and pickles for your pita and imported juices.

Just make sure that you keep in mind that they close early on Fridays to observe the sabbath.
