KB has recently changed its name to Reggae Cafe and is not longer vegetarian. There are still vegetarian options but a new review is in order (6/25/06)

Old Kebra Negast Description:
Kebra Negast serves healthy, plentiful plates of mainly vegan foods. You choose 4 (lunch-size) or 5 (dinner-size) options such as jerk tempeh, ackee stew, collards, sweet potatoes, and more. Deserts include sweet breads, fried plantains, and others. Tea and freshly made juices/smoothies are also available.

Very vegan. Does serve a fish dish on some days.

Kebra Negast is my favorite vegetarian eatery in the Hartford area... The food is relatively simple, in terms of culinary style... but it's all very edible and very nourishing. Also nourishing is the spirit of the friendly staff, always up for a chance to get to know their customers.
