Terrific Veg food fit for a King or Queen!
Eden's Grill is a little pricey, but it's worth every penny. And the crowds that pack the place bear that out.
Starting with appetizers, such as Potato Cakes (stuffed with green beans, carrots, mushrooms, onions, and spices). They also have the familiar selections of Hummus, Baba, Tabouli, Dolma, and Falafel. Each is spiced to delicious perfection.
Of the veg soups (Lentil and Vegetable), the former is very good, whereas the latter comes up a little short.
The salads consist of a Greek Salad and a fabulous Fattoush Salad (cucumber, parsley, mint, and radishes).
All vegetarian entrees (served with rice, skewered bell peppers, onions, and tomatoes)are priced at $10 or more, and include a Veggie Patty (4 large patties and rice); a Falafel Plate; a combination platter (with includes veg appetizers and two Veggie patties); and a Dolma platter. Note: portions are very large, and there's a $5 charge for splitting an already-expensive entree.
Eden's Grill is not as fancy as Persian Room or Persian Garden Cafe, but the food rates as high as those or higher.
Service is typically rude and curt, but the food really is enough to pack 'em in here.
At the NE corner of Thunderbird Rd and Tatum Blvd.
