Toscano Ristorante

The region of Tuscany in Italy highlight the numerous veggie offerings.
So many options for vegans at this true Italian cafe and restaurant. To start, try the charcoal grilled vegetables plate as an appetizer. All of the soup offerings not only use a vegetable stock, but are only made with fresh vegetables, with not a speck of chicken or beef in sight! Examples: minestrone of fresh vegetables; tomato, basil and garlic with Tuscan bread; pasta with Tuscan white bean soup.
Same is true of the salads offered: all vegetarian. The salads again offer no chicken or beef additions. Only fresh greens and vegetables are used.
Seven of the nine pasta dishes available are true vegetarian presentations. Side dishes include spinach, peas and fried potatoes.

Awesome vegan choices. The waiter was very helpful in selecting vegan choices from the menu. Everything had great flavor and was super fresh. We had the bruschetta, a soup, a pizza and a pasta.
