Out to change the world, Cafe Peace serves organic 100% vegan lunch, afternoon, dinner, and desserts.
Items are very seasonal, and vary from Soyburgers to Thai Curry to Avocado Sashimi.
Directions:
A 10-minute walk from Keihan Demachiyanagi Station. At Hyakumanben Crossing, turn left (north). It is the 2nd building on left, above Sukiya. It is across from the Chion Temple.

The gyoza (potsticker dumplings) were plump and truly flavorful, with a dipping sauce of infused soy sauce.
They had sweet and sour vegan pork that was incredible. It was excellent, a translucent amber sauce filled with fresh seasonal fruits (musk melons) and juicy. The ginger ale was lovely, with a mild bite to it.
