Love the waffle here. I haven't gotten it with the optional fresh fruit, but it seems like that would be a wise decision. The coffee here is smooth and mild, probably my favorite. Love the "tuna" panini half sandwich here.

The iced blended coffee drinks could be blended a bit smoother, ala Starbucks, but I'm not complaining.

I have never had the desserts, because I'm not a dessert person.

Great people-watching and fast Internet, if you want to log on.

Freesoulcaffee is one of my favorite local spot. It sits just off of the Old Town Tustin area and offers nice indoor and covered outdoor seating. The owner and the employees are all very friendly -- and the food is really good.

They offer a variety of baked goods, soups, salads and sandwich/panini choices. The coffee, tea and hot beverages are really amazing -- try the spanish hot chocolate for nice treat. Soups are all made fresh and come with a couple of chunks of nice bread. Portions are generous.

The first time I went, I made the mistake of ordering a bowl of soup and a full sandwich -- the soup was plenty for lunch. I ended up taking the sandwich (which comes with a small side salad) home for dinner.

Have not yet been for any breakfast items - but I plan to be back.

So good! The food is all vegan and delicious. I HIGHLY recommend the chocolate cupcake. Oh, and the chili. Ok, honestly, I recommend everything. The owner is super sweet and she's always there and down to serve/bus/chat, whatever. Try some of their premium green teas too.

Oh, thank goodness I can finally get a delicious vegan breakfast in the OC! The pumpkin Belgian waffle is so giant and soft and delicious. The vegan tuna sandwich is really flavorful and filling. Butternut squash soup that you can tell was made from really fresh, quality ingredients and the carrot cake muffin and the tea and the coffee... love it all! Great location, too - beautiful courtyard.
