If you try one veggie restaurant in Atlanta, make sure it is Sunflower. I am living in another city now and miss this place terribly. My (meat-eating)family knows that every return trip I make will include a stop at Sunflower, and there are no complaints. This is the best place to take skeptical carnivores who may be considering vegetarianism to show them how veggie food can be creative, exciting, and delicious. Asian-inspired dishes and new twists on old classics like lasagne, coupled with outstanding daily specials, make Sunflower a place worth returning to often. Do not skip over the appetizers or desserts! Many vegan dishes are available, and the waitstaff is accomodating and informed. Prices are good for the quality and quantity of what you get. Wine and beer available at the Buckhead location; not at the Sandy Springs location. Check out their website for additional information and menu.
