A basic Lebanese menu and a festive atmosphere. Vegetarian options include falafel, baba, tabouli etc. Also, there is a Pita Inn market next door.

I have eaten more Pita Inn food than any other kind of food. They are not fancy or elegant, but they are a reliable source of consistently good nosh and damn if I wouldn't go there for some mint tea right now if I didn't live in Minnesota. A couple years ago they remodeled and now you can kick it in a nice seating area with whitewashed brick archways and sprigs of rubber grape leaves. Their menu is small-- Baba, hummus, jerusalem salad, tabouleh, yoghurt salad, and falafel. Its quality is very consistent. Within the last year they expanded their menu, and now you can get a falafel sandwich with potatoes, too. If you're in the mood for solid middle eastern fast food in little plastic baskets, this is your place.
This is my absolute favorite falafel. Its perfect! They make the pita there so its always fresh and delicious. Get some iced tea (its mint! yum.) The hummous is great, and they put a little pool of olive oil on top -- perfect. I very much enjoy the atmosphere, its so festive. There aren't a whole lot of menu items, just your basic middle eastern stuff, but they do it so well! And this place has to be the cheapest vegetarian meal in Chicago.

Best falafel, but unfortunately not many vegan options.
