Cafe downstairs from Elliott Bay Books with vegan pastries

This cafe is downstaris from Elliott Bay books. They have one veg sandwich, but the main draw for vegans will be their extensive selection of pastries from Flying Apron Organic Bakery. Cookies, muffins, and tarts are all available. Most are vegan, as well as gluten-free.

You can sit surrounded by discount books in a cozy atmosphere as you sip coffee and nibble on vegan goodies.

Cool spot downstairs from a great independent bookstore. Very nice atmosphere in the cafe. The vegan goodies were excellent. Too bad they don't have a lot of vegan sandwiches.
