Cafe in the historic Hotel Congress
Restaurant, Coffee/Tea/Juice, Bar
The Cup Cafe is located in the historic Hotel Congress in downtown Tucson. The hotel was first built in 1919, and in 1934 John Dillinger was captured there by Tucson police.
The Cup Cafe is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Vegetarian and vegan options are available at every meal, though some modifications may have to be made (hold the cheese) to make dishes vegan. At breakfast, they serve vegan French toast--possibly the only place in Tucson you can get this. If in doubt about a particular dish, the staff can usually answer your questions.
Coffee drinks and cocktails are available in this laid-back, inviting cafe. There are some excellent desserts, too, but those sadly aren't vegan.

Last week I had dinner for the first time at The Cup. I was pleasantly surprised. I believe there were 2 vegan entrees and a few sandwiches and salads. My entree was creative and good. A bit bland but not bad at all. I'll definitely go bad.
