Cafe Tarragon just opened up less than 2 weeks ago but they seem to be getting off to a great start. They don't promise everything to be vegan (although it's 100% vegetarian), but the entire menu case happened to be vegan when I stopped in today. I love the store that the cafe is located in, as they have a great selection of fair trade and eco-friendly products. It has a bit of everything.
I couldn't decide so I went with the sampler platter, which offered 3 items for $9.99. Not a bad deal at all. I went w/ the raw chick'n salad in Romaine lettuce (yum), the gluten-free mung bean noodles in peanut sauce (so-so, apparently I don't like mung-bean noodles), and the sweet potato salad w/ a Veganaise dressing (very good). I was overall satisfied with all of my food but personally, I prefer my food to be flavored more strongly (more spice, garlic, kick, whatever). I also tried my friend's hot chili and it was very good.
I'm not super into raw food so I would tend toward non-raw items, but it's good that they're offering so many raw and gluten-free options since there isn't much else for selection in Milwaukee.
