I think it's worth finding this place and I'm just a local. And oh boy, am I glad to find a place like this. The tofu wraps are yummy and I love the acai drink. My boyfriend had the spinach lasagna and I'm not a fan of pasta but it was pretty damn tasty! It's a bit of way to get here from where I live but it's worth it. Place is a bit cramp when it's crowded considering it's small, but it's comfy enough.

I had the daily special number #2 which was a salad with a yummy green vegan dressing, white rice, beans and plantain casserole. It was delicious! Plus the vegan soy strawberry smoothie. Everything was super including the two servers who were very sweet and patient with me and my rudimentary knowledge of Spanish.

Loved it! It's a little hole in the wall, a bit off the beaten track, but a bit of heaven for a vacationing vegan! All the other patrons were locals, but the very friendly waitress spoke beautiful english and translated the menu for us.
We all had the daily special-- a kind of root vegetable mash with soy cheese and rice and beans (white beans that day.) My meat-eating parents loved the food, too. They have rotating daily specials as well as salads and sandwiches. About half the menu had dairy or egg, but they were sensitive to the vegan thing. It's next door to a very well stocked health food store.
