Love this place. It's very overpriced for vegans, but the the food is mostly great. It's not vegan but they do have many vegan choices and take vegans seriously.Very relaxing decor, talented performers like acoustic guitarist/singers and sexy bellydancers. Try the cocktails, they're amazing, like the margaritas.

Note: stay away from the Seared Organic Seitan on the dinner menu. It's average when it's served, and pretty awful the next day. The coconut rice in that dish sounds delicious, but it's got way too much coconut (and I love coconut).

Tula is not vegetarian, but has a lot of options. It is a really trendy looking restaurant and usually is very crowded. The service is usually slow but very friendly...and the food is amazing....
I just reviewed Long Island Vegetarian Eatery and this place is the opposite. It is very pricey, but the food is of high quality. Yesterday I went there and had the vegan "crab" cakes. They are just wonderful...so tasty and served with smashed sweet potatoes and asparagus....everything there is really good and the vegan dishes are not trying to be imitations of meat. I go every couple of months (I would go more often if I could afford it) and never have a bad meal.
Highly recommended.

'Been there several times. We love everything about it! Excellent food, reasonable prices, HUGE portions. All in all, a great place to go! Vegan "crab cakes" rock, but so does everything else I've had there!
