This place does hippie food right. I had the lumberjack breakfast sandwich. It was absolutely delicious, and every single ingredient was perfectly prepared. My wife had the basic breakfast. I was particularly impressed by the tofu scramble, which had a really nice blend of spices.

We also tried two desserts, the cheesecake and tiramisa. They were both excellent, though the tiramisu was nothing like tiramisu. It was two layers of custard (vanilla and chocolate) celebrated by some sort of raw date/nut mixture, I think.

Next time I'm in town I really want to try their lunch and dinner food too.

This is one of the best Veg/Vegan/Raw restaurants in the Phoenix Area! I have yet to have a bad dish yet and I have been here over 20 times (No, really!). The staff has always been super nice and willing to help out my carnivore friends on explanation and good recommendations. Also there desserts are AMAZING! Try the Dragon Bowl, the LumberJack sandwich or the Raw Lasagna (If they have it on the daily special). Either go and find out for yourself, but I am a foodie and have tried almost every Veggie Restaurant in town and this is my favorite.

I was able to make my own custom 80 10 10 meal here and it was great!

If you like raw food this place is great. The Tacos Vivos were AMAZING! The Arizona Roll was delicious...and the pomegranate green iced tea was great! This is one of my new favorites. I recommend to everyone.

Corn pancakes were superb. Veg scramble was good, but served cold and with skimpy egg portion for the price. No jam for the toast nor salt and pepper at the table. On this morning, it was definitely understaffed as both the order taking, food preparation and delivery were slow. While the coffee menu specifies coffee press, I was told that the only two presses they had were currently at tables. A later offer to refill coffee cup never materialized and I finally went in and said to the clearly frazzled counter person/waitress that we were leaving and not to bother. The staff were friendly, courteous and helpful to the extent they could be. This place has promise, but has a ways to go to fulfill it.

I like this place. It's cute and mother & daughter owned and run which I think is great. It's a laid back type place which is great for a quick meal or a slow lunch. I had a breakfast burrito which was really good. I also had an elixir which was served in a champagne glass on a plate with a piece of homemade lavendar chocolate and a strawberry which was adorable! I also found out the elixirs are made by Chakra 4 which makes it even better. The service is great, everyone that works there is really nice and Cassie is a total sweet heart! I'll be going back for sure. The only problem is they are in Ahwatukee which is kind of a hike for me. But they are worth the trip for sure.

We went to this restaurant after finding them online and looking at the menu. They have lots of vegan and raw options, but food is not prepared particularly well. Seems like most things are straight out of package and into the pan. "Philly cheese steak" was sliced Field Roast cooked with bell peppers and onions. This is something that can be made in five minutes at home. The chips that came with were straight from a bag that was probably bought next door at Trader Joe's, and I don't think the salad dressing is made in house either. My girlfriend got a breakfast burrito, but the pinto beans tasted like they were from a can and not rinsed (plus I could have sworn the menu said black beans). I would be willing to try this restaurant again, but I would like to have something that is not just store-bought and marked up.

My boyfriend surprised me by taking me here for lunch and boy was I PLEASED! What a terrific, locally owned place! The place was full of people on a Saturday afternoon. I had the BLT, which came with a terrific green salad, some fruit, and root chips. I was so satisfied. My boyfriend had the Roast Beef. The owner even greeted us and talked about the menu. I really cannot wait to go back. Note: we ordered everything VEGAN. Yum!

When I heard about this place opening down the street from me I thought it would be a great place to stop by on my mid morning jogs, so the first chance I could I made it a point to find it deep in the Trader Joe's shopping center. Right when I walked in I could tell this place was very amateur. The art on the wall seem like they gave up or ran out of many half way, and they have games, books, and couches giving the illusion that it is a hang out place, but I highly doubt anyone uses it as such. I mostly saw a lot of people standing around waiting, and to my surprise when I asked if they were in line they said no they had already ordered. Not a great was to keep business coming back. When I got to the register a young man who looked like he had partaken in some "special herbs" himself tried to explain the very bare menu to me. Aside from food, the drinks are pretty much choose and make yourself, which I can see some people liking but I like to have the nutritional information in front of me for the mixtures, as I need more protein. They do not offer whey protein (which is understandable if they pride themselves on having a mostly vegan menu), but the stoner kid couldn't tell me the nutritual diferences between rice milk, almond milk, and hemp milk- he couldn't even come to the obvious conclusion that almond milk would have more protein and he had no idea how hemp milk was made. I had him mix me up some almond milk with frozen berries and bananas (he also couldn't tell me if the fruit were IQF) and a bit of apple juice (which he made on their dinky family size juicer WITHOUT WEARING GLOVES after he had just handled money). In fact I saw no gloves anywhere. And the rags they used to clean off the counters and cutting boards were in a bucket of bleach water (which you could very easily smell) and they would just just grab them, wring them out, and use that. Bleach water, not dried up on the boards he cut my apples on. I may just be a neat freak, but this really bothered me. I worked in a restaurant as a teenager and I remember clearly that you don't use bleach water for counter rags, I think I would have an aneurysm if I saw the rest of the place, in fact I know this because while waiting for my drink (which took way to long for what I ordered) I was reading some literature on a table they had by the espresso machine and I noticed there were coffee grounds everywhere. I finally got my drink, and by that point I couldn't even try it because I was so disgusted by the preparation.

My recommendation to them would be to have their employees take a class on food safety and preparation. Also learn a little about microbiology and how important it is with juicers and raw vegetables to keep things as clean as possible.

I will never be back there again and I truely hope no one gets sick from their laziness.

I just heard about this place from my hairdresser today, and made a beeline for it. Let me just say it was wonderful. The people were extremely friendly and helpful, the food was OUTSTANDING, the ambiance was warm and inviting. I HIGHLY recommend this little gem to the veggie and non-veggies out there! Yum, Yum!
