Hot bar and cafe attached to the People's Food Coop.
Next door and attached to the People's Food Coop is Cafe Verde, a cafe with fair trade coffee. In the back is the PFC hot bar, which serves lunch, dinner, soup, and salads, which you can eat in the cafe.
Directions:
Fourth Ave at Catherine, near Farmer's Market. At the "a" stop on the Link Bus.

Favorite spot for lunch after shopping at Farmer's Market.
The cafe is undergoing renovations in Sept 2004 - the hot bar is still open for takeout but there's hardly anywhere to sit any more.

Tasty cafe food, but a bit overpriced. It has the bonus of being a co-op and serving fair trade coffee, but there are better places in town.
