Houston restaurant featuring local produce

Restaurant, Coffee/Tea/Juice, Food Court or Street Vendor, Caterer

They specialize in vegan tamales (chipotle black bean, spinach and corn and more) and soups. In the summer try the watermelon gazpacho. In the winter try the mushroom barley.

Radical Eats also do gluten-free vegan food and you can find their stuff at Antidote, Black Hole coffee shops - and farmer's markets around Houston. Plus they deliver!

I went for the all you can eat breakfast/brunch thing they do and it was terrible. Soggy strawberries. Nothing was really that flavorful. We haven't been back since.

I was super ecstatic to see a vegan restaurant in this neighborhood. I am from the area and I am almost positive they are the first in the neighborhood to open up a vegan restaurant here. I tried it and I loved that they serve a variety of foods but mostly the Mexican food. I've never had vegan Mexican, other than what I have created on my own, I must say they nailed it. Bravo to them! I've only been once, only because I don't have the company to join me, but I pass by all the time and they are always busy!
