Traditional Transylvanian dishes
Casa Ardeleana serves lots of vegetarian dishes and a number of vegan ones. Vegans should check out the "Preparate de post" special section on the menu that lists the vegan soups and entrees (including the yummy typical Romanian dish "sarmale"). There are also a few side dishes that seem to be vegan (French fries, grilled veggies, steamed rice, etc.) and lots of vegan salads. One of the desserts, "mere coapte" (w. cinnamon and sugar) seems to be vegan. For non-vegan vegetarians, there are a lot more options. All the side dishes, for example, are vegetarian except for one.
